Jeremy James Kong is a guitarist, producer, arranger & educator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has worked with artists such as Tasha Aleia, Ali Aiman, Nisa Addina, DOLLA, NYK, YonnyBoii, Meer Nash, Amy 文小菲 , 大费周张 (Dua Sekawan) to name a few; and the list continues to grow.

He began his musical journey at an early age, playing music in church; with musical influences and tastes from a wide array of genres including R&B, jazz, soul, gospel, rock to pop: a key to his versatility as a musician. Some highlights of his career include: opening for Ne-Yo during the 2016 Air Asia annual dinner with Tasha Aleia, playing the Singaporean stage of Music Matters Festival 2017 with NYK and joining the in-house band for Padi Music Festival 2019. More recently, he produced Meer Nash’s single “抱歉,如果伤害了你”: a Mandarin cover of Nabila Razali’s song “Peluang Kedua”; played a featured guitar solo on YonnyBoii’s “Aku Itu Aku”, and performed on the #LiveKatRumah series by Grab MY & Jao Tim, with Press ST:Art and Nisa Addina.

He is currently an active session guitarist in the Kuala Lumpur music scene; and also carries out guitarist/producer duties as part of his band: Press ST:Art. I now run my own architecture studio in New York, but previously I’ve worked internationally on a wide range of projects. As an educator, his biggest passion is to marry the highest quality materials with function, achieving not just comfort but also the right aesthetic.
